Project reviews

Denari's review workflow is an easy way for preparers and reviewers to communicate with each other over the status of reviews.

Submit for review

For trial balance projects you can click the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page when all accounts are either reconciled or ignored. If the button is grayed out, check that you aren't missing any accounts.

For workpaper-only projects you can click the "Submit for review" button when at least one document is uploaded to the project.

You must be assigned as a preparer on the project in order to do so. If you aren't, you can add yourself as a preparer: Edit project settings.

After you submit a project for review, the status of the project will change to "Ready for review".

Approve or reject

When a project is in the "Ready for review" state you can review the project by clicking one of the buttons at the top of the page:

If you approve the project, the status will change to "Complete", whereas if you reject the project the status will return to "In progress".

Note that you will have to be assigned as the reviewer of the project. If you are not, you can assign yourself: Edit project settings.

As a reviewer you can easily see which projects are ready for your review with the Projects list bookmarking feature.

Remove approval

If you accidentally approved a project you can click the "Remove Approval" button, which will return the project back to the "In progress" state.
