Create a new project

To create a new project follow these steps:

The easiest way to create a new project is from our "+" button in the top right of the nav bar on every page in our web app. Select the "New papers project" option

The other longer way is to do it through the projects list page:

  1. Go to the Projects list page

  2. Click the "New Project" button on the top right of the page

  3. Fill out the appropriate details for the project

If you are creating a project for an entity that already has the same type of project for the prior period you may wish to Roll forward.

Trial balance vs. workpaper-only projects

Under the "Project type" input you can select either trial balance or workpaper-only project options. Trial balance projects will allow you to take advantage of Denari's trial balance management features, whereas workpaper-only projects are to be used as document management projects for other types of work (sales tax, 1099s, etc.).
